About us
In Hagspiel, a small hamlet near Oberstaufen in the Allgäu region, we – a three-generation extended family – live together with children, young people and adults who receive pedagogical support.
Our community grows from the connection between family and work. In our daily life, we take our bearings from a mountain-farming way of life: close to nature, hands-on, and communal.
Our everyday life is varied and lively. We work, learn and live together. Everyone contributes their own skills, ideas and experience. In this way, a place emerges where community is lived out, where diversity has room to flourish, and where we shape life together.
Craft ...
… is a fixed part of our daily life. Our workshop house offers space for creative ideas and projects of all kinds in wood, clay, wool and other materials.
We build and make a great deal ourselves – from small items of daily life, such as tableware, tea and herb salt to bigger projects around the house, such as a clay oven or a corner bench with a dining table.
Some of our creations are available to buy in our own little farm shop (“Hoflädele”).
